CMCCA’s herbal products are grown in a biologically secure facility that meets the highest standards of inspection. This biosecure facility provides 24-hour environmental monitoring, genetic and physical safety, quality assurance and a pest-free environment for good plant growth.
The products grown in this facility are pesticide free. The plant nutrients are composed of a mixture of Nitrate-Phosphorus-Potassium (N-P-K) and a mixture of other nutrients such as Iron, Calcium, Magnesium, and other similar elements used for vegetable crops.
An integrated pest management system has been put in place rather than using chemical pesticides, which allows us to offer a pesticide-free product. The facility has been inspected and declared compliant with the Food and Drugs Act (FDA), the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA), the Food and Drug Regulations (FDR), the Food and Drug Administration. Natural Resources Canada (NHPD), the Narcotic Control Regulations (NSC), the Narcotic Control Regulations (NS), and the Cannabis Access to Medical Purposes Regulations (RACFM).
This facility ensures the cultivation of plants in a controlled environment using procedures, production systems and testing, and in compliance with the standards required by the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations.
This means that the safety of our products is tested at every stage of the production process in accordance with the standards applied for common pharmaceutical products. There are 281 quality control points during the manufacturing of our products.
